The Refining Co. is a registered nonprofit that operates 212 Revival (212revival.com) and 212 Generation (212generation.com). 212 Revival exists to fund students who could not otherwise afford the 212 curriculum and a Bible. This policy explains what information we collect from donors, why we collect it, and what we do with it. Questions go to info@212revival.com.
We collect only what we need to process your gift, send your receipt, and keep in touch about it:
Gifts are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card or bank account number.
We will only text you if you have given us your phone number and expressly agreed to receive text messages, either by checking the box when you gave or by telling a member of our staff directly. We do not buy phone numbers, and we do not text people who have not asked us to.
Texts from us are one of the following:
Message frequency varies and is low. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from us, or HELP for help. Stopping texts will not affect your gift or your standing as a donor in any way.
Consenting to text messages is never a condition of giving. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We use your information to process your gift, send your receipt and acknowledgment, tell you what your gift did, and keep the donor records our nonprofit is required to keep. We share it only with the services that make those things work: Stripe for payment processing, our email and text message providers, and our accounting system.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or publish donor information, and we do not share it for anyone else's fundraising or marketing. Phone numbers and text message consent are never shared with third parties for their own purposes. We do not publish a donor list.
You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can unsubscribe from email using the link in any message we send, and stop texts by replying STOP. If you have a recurring monthly gift, you can cancel it at any time by writing to us. Reach a person at info@212revival.com.
Deleting your donor record does not erase the accounting record of a gift already given, which we are required to retain.
Our giving pages are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will remove it.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
